Why go to the Gym?
Going to the gym starts with one deciding if they are choosing to train or exercise. Physical health is incredibly important to me as we live in a world where it is easy to forget to take care of our bodies- and I have been very guilty of such in my past. Both training and exercise are very valid reasons to go to the gym in my book. I'm going to touch on the differences between both.
Training
Training is the act of teaching a person a particular skill or type of behavior. When one goes to the gym with a goal of training, they are going to improve a specific skill or in this case, a body part like one's legs or arms. Training is the act of going to the gym with a specific goal in mind, a plan in place, and a gradual learning/growth towards that goal.
Exercising
Exercising is engaging in physical activity to sustain or improve health. Attending the gym with the goal of exercize looks to maintain if not improve one's health as a whole. To put it simply the individual may be looking to burn calories/fat and generally increase their health with no specific goal in mind.
